Overview

This policy explains what Selectask Digital Academy collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. It applies to selectask.com and to any course you enrol in through this site.

What we collect

When you create an account we store your name, email address and phone number. When you enrol in a course we store the transaction reference and the payment receipt you upload. While you watch a lecture we store how far through the video you are, so the next visit can resume from the same point.

We also record the date, time, IP address and device type of each sign in. This is how we enforce the one device per account rule and how we spot shared accounts.

Why we collect it

To give you access to the courses you paid for, to confirm your payment, to keep your progress, and to protect course material from being shared beyond the account that paid for it.

Video watermark

Your name and email address are shown as a moving overlay on course videos. This is a deterrent against recording and redistribution. It is visible only to you while you watch.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers. Course videos are hosted on YouTube as unlisted videos, so YouTube receives standard playback data. Payments are made directly to our JazzCash or bank account, so no card details ever reach this website.

How long we keep it

Account and enrolment records are kept for as long as your account exists. Payment receipts are kept for our accounting records. Sign in logs are kept for a rolling period and then removed.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct your details or to delete your account at any time. Deleting the account removes your access to any course you enrolled in. Write to us through the contact page.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in and to identify the device your account is signed in on. We do not use advertising cookies.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and change the date below.
